Dynamic technology conversations are created by dynamic technology plans. Based on research from state and national frameworks, this session will introduce you to Orange USD’s technology plan.   Attendees will recognize alignment between LCAP goals, stakeholders in the Future Ready Framework, and evaluation of progress using the CASE Framework.A technology plan that is effective must be able to evolve with needs of the educational community.  These needs are governed by the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).  Orange Unified School District developed a technology plan that reinforces and supports goals within their LCAP.  An alignment was created that supports objectives within the LCAP, pulls in stakeholders through the Future Ready Framework, and is evaluated through a technology Survey supported by the research-based CASE Framework ( Classroom, Access, Skills, and Environment).  Several designs of current technology plans and the reading of statewide CTAP-based technology plans assisted in creating the foundational model that was developed at Orange USD.  This model allows an administrator at a school site to work towards an LCAP goal located on the technology plan knowing that it is aligned to stakeholder support, district goals, and state priorities. Attending this session will take participants through the process of how the technology plan was developed and an example of how the alignment works to build connections between departments and technology initiatives.  Individuals will walk away with a process of developing their own dynamic technology plan.  PRESENTATION - http://bit.ly/2HndXTP
